Future Hopes Integrated Development Organization (FHIDO) is an indigenous, nongovernmental, non-profit and legally registered Ethiopian resident charity organization. It was established in 1986 to build self-sufficient generation in Ethiopia through employing comprehensive and sustainable development approach.

ECD
ECD program is one of the core programs of FHIDO which focuses on under five-years-old children. The program is designed to create accesses for preschool and improved the quality of service provided in government and community owned ECD centers.
Education
FHIDO engage to enhance primary education quality and improve academic performance of target children through construction of class rooms, girl’s latrines and girls room, water points, and provision of library desks, chairs and tables, reference books, laboratory equipment, ICT materials in different schools found in Arada Sub.
Youth Development
FHIDO’s youth development focuses to address the most underprivileged youth aged 15-24 through providing capacity building trainings in life skills, SRH services , protecting them from illegal human trafficking , drug and substance abuse and creating livelihood and employment opportunities.
WASH
FHIDO has been working to improve the water, hygiene and sanitation condition of the community in the past. With close partnership with local partners

Need Response
Education for Street Children
Since FHIDO’s operational areas, i.e Arada sub city is the home of significant street children and it is thriving from day to day due to several pull factors, FHIDO has been engaged to discharge its role to address their several risks of substance abuse , high level of violence and other health related issues . Through the use of its community health workers, it has been facilitating access to basic health services like counselling, HIV test and ART services.
